Vision In Blue

I did a lot more gift crafting in 2015... Some were tailor-made for people and one idea in particular came from Pinterest, and that one I wanted to do for months and was glad for the excuse to make it. Terry's Chocolate Orange Christmas Pudding So this was my Pinterest spot and I was longing to make it. I decided I was going to make 5 of them (yes I was cocky and confident) for friends and family. Here's my chocolate pud making experience with some handy tips thrown in... Step 1: Buying the chocolate So I went off to The 99p Store (because that extra penny saved from Poundland makes a difference!) and brought all my maltesers. I have never seen a chocolate orange in any of the 99p/£1 shops, so next it was off to Tesco to get those, some milk and white chocolate for melting and then some icing for the decoration. It is a glorious day in Bristol today, too good. I set out to have another Shaun-y adventure but only got round to doing half of it. I actually had barely started and I already wanted to give up. I think the high was actually only 24, but it was a very challenging beginning. I'd intended to start at the Balloon Fiesta going via the Southbank Trail of Shauns, but had a last minute change. Never fear, there's always a bus nearby in Bristol... unless the driver is a git and tells you you're wrong, even when you're right. I really couldn't be bothered with having an argument with this guy who had instantly decided I was an idiot tourist. Least sensible thing to do two days after twinging your back? Go on a two hour-ish walk? Nah it'll be fine! [Well, I am kind of regretting it now!] Today I managed to complete the Harbourside Trail. Unfortunately it wasn't entirely new scenery, as it was a significant amount of a walk S and I had done when he came down.
